Well handing out sweets hardly seems to be safe at the moment does it? Unless you expect everyone to track and trace?

Trick - householder coughs on you
Treat - free mask

Sorted;)

Just tell your kids because Santa will have to self isolate for 2 weeks everytime he enters a new country their presents won't get here till about mid August.

I like Halloween, and I love Christmas, cancelling Halloween wouldn't be such a big deal [it's more the time of year I like really] but I'm doing Christmas same as ever no matter what they tell us.

Holloween can go
bommy night can go too

CHRIMBO gonna be just fine this year..

Tesco, Dunne's stores etc are full of Halloween gear over here, doesn't look like being cancelled. They'll barely have those down 1st Nov when they'll be replaced with Christmas gear. The only restrictions I can see them advise rather than enforce, would be for trick or treating outside of family - because you can visit family and friends regardless in limited numbers, and they are allowed give you sweeties :D Travel restrictions kicking in again over Christmas probably. It would really only affect people coming home for or visiting non local family. Other than that what can they do? Ban the sales of Turkey and Brussel sprouts?

Ah thanks for the reminder I'b better get mine on ready (y)

:D

I'm one of those Christmas only sprout eaters :D Love them with the Crimbo feast; whole, boiled to almost soft, then baked along with the ham. A little crunch, smothered in Kerrygold butter ... mmmm

Bit late for that... according to Donald Trump we can expect the first frosts anytime soon. They're going to be beautiful.

The best frosts you have ever seen, he rang God and sorted it, well i think God rang him to tell him how great a job he was doing.

I like Christmas but both my kids and the grandchilden live in SA, which isn't great...

Guy Fawkes is usually quite good in Edinburgh, but I don't know what it'll be like this year. I'm indifferent to Halloween, and I doubt if we'll notice it at all.
