Halcyon River diaries

Much as I love nature programs if they give the wildlife names I wont watch them now, to much of that rubbish going on these days.
 
I quite enjoyed that series. Can't be doing with all the 'reality family' mushy side but it was quite interesting to see the effort and improvisation that went into getting the shots over the seasons.

There was also a nice article including Kingfishers by Charles Hamilton James in the June edition of Practical Photography magazine.
