I am going to be visiting Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway at the weekend and wondered if anyone had any good tips/locations for photographing it.

It was a nice day out, but not so much for photography. I think it would be good to plan a landscape shot with the train as part of the image though...

Winchcombe station is interesting but you can also visit GWR on a 1940's weekend but that is earlier in the season. You can get a nice shot of the trains from the bridge between Woodmancote and Winchcombe (manor lane I think). The SVR is a bigger scale with more photo opportunities.
