I've finally got my LF set up 
Had to forget about 5x7 because of the cost and availability, so I'm not a proud owner of a Toyo 45C monorail thingmy and a lens that cost twice as much as the camera.
One issue I have though - the ground glass is pretty dark, by about two or three stops and is suffering from the hot spot issue pretty badly. I've been looking at various screens and fresnels on t'interweb and it's confusing me greatly. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what and where to buy? I've looked at some websites that profess to make bright screens, but they're all around the 100 pound mark, too expensive for me at the moment. I have thought about grinding my own but I don't see why it'd be that different to the stock Toyo screen.
