Grey Collapsible Background with train

Does anyone know where I can get one?

I can find grey collapsible backgrounds that come with black or white covers and trains, but nothing with a grey train.

Any suggestions?
 
Why do you want one?
No problem if you're going to leave it unlit, or if you're going to spot light it, but if you're planning to light the train you'll run into problems with grey.

Just like those - but ideally I wanted a plain grey background rather than a patterned one.

I want the train so that I can have the option of full-length shots on a grey background (which I much prefer to a white background).

I'm aware that with more room I could do this by just underexposing a white background, but I don't anticipate having the much room.

Why is grey particularly a problem for lighting a train? Is it trickier than white/chromagreen/other colours?
 
I should have added that I don't intend to have an even shade of grey across the frame so wouldn't necessarily be looking to get even lighting across the whole background.

(Also, as you may have gathered, studio-esque setups are a new avenue for me - just looking at experimenting with them in the short term)

With what you have in mind it isn't a problem at all.
But I was concerned that you might want to turn it white with lighting, in which case the amount of light that you would need to put on the 'train' part would be have to be very high, which would cause problems with unwanted light striking your subject.
 
Oh right - no, white background isn't on my agenda at all.

Now just to track down a plain grey background with train...
 
I'm still looking for a plain grey collapsible background with a train - surely somebody must make one?!
 
Thanks Tim - I suspect I may just have to give up on my search and settle for one or the other!
