Surely one of the greatest public slap downs of all time.

I mean, I've seen it on every other media channel.....

I must admit I wasn't previously aware of Andrew Tate. It's surprising that the Romanian authorities were similarly unaware.
 
Up until a few months ago, I was (thankfully) unaware of this deeply horrible person. From what I have read, he moved to Romania, because in his words that is the only place where he could legally get away with raping a woman. Well, I hope that he is going to be proved wrong.
Unfortunately, looking at the bigger picture he has reached an almost hero status amongst the woman hating, "Incel" community.
 
It looks like the Romanians were aware, just weren’t quite sure of his whereabouts, until the pizza boxes showed up in front of his dressing down.

It appears to have come about as he was let back on Twitter by Musk’s changes.

It is quite good to have this macho nonsense ripped up so easily. He appears to be so thick that he doesn’t even consider that the email address she put up could be made up.
 
I saw items about his arrest, but had to google the thunberg connection - I am clearly not a member of the twitterati! I have to compliment her on her success in implementing the "ready wit and repartee" course
 
I had not heard of him before this, but it was a beautiful thing to watch unfold and couldn't have happened to a more deserving nasty prick.

It also didn't go unnoticed just how many of the usual right wing scumbags jumped to his defence and hailing him as a fine example of what a man should be, only for moments later him being denounced as a human trafficking rapist.
 
If you want to keep your location secret you don't use social media. I'm going to be laughing about his downfall for a long time.

That just doesn't seem likely, does it?

They knew he was in Romania but didn't know where he was, but a box from a pizza chain proved enough for a warrant.....

Also, a police officer has been arrested.

Well, no but. Someone with such monstrous self-entitlement probably didn't cover his tracks that well. Maybe he was getting arrested anyway, maybe the authorities got woke up by the Twitter spat. Who knows. He has a friend in Julia Hartley-Brewer, or at least, he did have for a short while.

Should this not be a Garry Gl*****r or Jonathan K**g moment i.e. no publicity that would focus on him rather than those he has affected?
 
He is an example of what I really despise about social media, the fact he has a following, when he's a blatant, arrogant sexist pig [at best]

Latest I heard though is that the pizza box thing is complete BS, they did not figure where he was from that but had been tracing his movements in Romania for quite a while - I mean, his last 3 MMA fights were in Bucharest and that was back in 2020

It has been said that his main source of income was from Hustler's University, which has been exposed as being a pyramid scheme. Perhaps he thought he would have more chance of getting away with it there, despite still being illegal.

He seemingly also keeps firearms at his house and allegedly he can do this because he's registered his place as a firing range. I'm not sure of the legitimacy of this and whilst it may offer up some protection from (other) criminals, it's pointless against the state who will almost always be the bigger and better equipped 'gang'.
 
The Rumanian authorities have confiscated his fleet of luxury cars today (or yesterday) and raided several other houses looking for evidence of human trafficking.

Greta got arrested by German police during a demonstration.
