I've just seen that Gregg Allman has died. Yet another of my favourite musicians gone.
While his song 'All my friends' is one of my favourites, I guess that 'Ain't wasting time no more' is rather appropriate right now.

I believe he wrote Ain't Wasting Time No More after Duane's death. Spookily enough just two week ago for my birthday I got Greg's biography and CDs of the first two albums (I only have them on vinyl). A superb singer.

I wanted to name one of my girls Melissa after the song they wrote.
