Hi to you all. I recently found this forum and have been reading through the posts. It's fantastic: so much good information, so friendly and some amazing photos.
I've been taking photos for as long as I can remember. Got more heavily interested about 9 years ago, did some courses with an old fully-manual Olympus OM-10. In 2007 I upgraded to a Canon EOS 350D. Since then I've been through various stages of intense interest in photography to spells of just taking snaps of the kids and on holiday. Back in a highly interested phase again and hoping the being involved in a forum such as this will keep me inspired! Currently saving for a new camera, probably a Canon EOS 60D.
I'm a particular fan of macro, close-up and more abstract shots. Also I like shooting plants and insects. I enjoy wildlife photography but I'm not as yet especially good at it. My least favourite style is portrait, but Im working hard on this so that I can take some better quality pictures of the kids.
Looking forward to getting to know you all, learn from your expertise and hopefully contribute some of my own knowledge back.
