Hi all,

I'm a student, originally from Hampshire but currently at university in Birmingham.

Photography is a big hobby of mine... must be a bit of an obsession, but I love anything that involves capturing and reproducing things in high quality but with my interpretation, usually with lots of expensive toys involved (also into audio engineering and a casual interest in DSLR videography).

Been quite into landscape and street photography whilst travelling, but now starting to experiment more with portraits, lighting, etc. Hoping to get some wedding experience as a supernumerary second shooter.

Shoot FF Canon, though Nikon have me slightly questioning my allegiances with the D750/D810 which seem like killer bodies! Still very happy with what I have though and know that most limitations are my own and not gear.

Hi Matt and welcome to the forums, some interesting interests there, "audio engineering" ? I am a fan of Home Cinema, is that along similar lines?

Hi there! I mean like recording, mixing & mastering. Tinker with home studio stuff and a bit of live recording. Taken a bit of a sideline since going to university though as its not quite so portable as photography. I sold lots of my gear a few years ago as I couldn't justify keeping it with how rarely it was being used. Kept enough for basics though!
