Hi there and great forum

I'm Kay, I'm an ecologist living in Edinburgh.

I got my first digital camera (Fujifilm FinePix) about 5 yrs ago, and a couple of years ago purchased an SLR (Nikon D40) which I'm really impressed with, and I'm really still learning how to get the best results from it, so I think I'll be reading up on this forum quite a bit. I also have a Canon Ixus (bought yesterday) that I'm planning to carry around on a daily basis!

I photograph all sorts of stuff really, but mainly landscape, flora, architecture and cars/motorsport.
