Hello all,

Seems like I registered here back in June but never did anything further, so here I am... finally!

Photography is just a hobby for me at the moment, I like my landscapes and being in the highlands there are no shortages of scenery up here. Anyone else up in this area?

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, welcome from Staffordshire... so jealous of all your lovely scenery, whats you favourite part of Scotland for photos?
 
Hi Lee,

I love the west coast, the weather over there makes for some spectacular scenery at times. Even though I grew up there, it can still stop you in your tracks - I took the bike across to Applecross this year in April, and on the way up the pass I stopped, my jaw was hanging out the bottom of my helmet. Grey clouds hovering over the top of the mountains, water streaming down the sides from the rain and the road winding its way up into the clouds, absolutely breathtaking. The pics I took were rubbish too, they just didn't do it justice!

I'm down the road in Perthshire but I often work in the Inverness office.

North West coast for me too when I get the time.

Hi there. Im north of Dundee where the views arent as nice as by you, but Im that bad it doesnt make that much difference!
