Hello, newbie here,
Ive been a snapper for a couple of years now and have recently just purchased myself a Nikon D40 with an 18-55mm lens. For the past couple of years I have just been using a compact.
I did a little bit of SLR photography at school but that was over 20 years ago now so I have forgotten most of what I was taught.
So I guess I will be asking a lot of questions over the next few weeks.
