Hello to all.

I have just started getting into the expensive hobby called photography :)

I got myself two entry level Canon EOS 1000D's. One for me and one for the wife. We are currently reading and shooting, shooting and reading. Trying to get to grips with the vast settings required to get that perfect shot. But I have to admit, we are loving it.

I am currently serving with the Army so for me it's a hobby. My wife, on the other hand, is looking at some online courses with an end state of doing portraits etc for other families in our community.

Looking forward to getting to "chat" to you all on here. My other main hobby is web design and development so I know just how much work goes into creations such as this.

Hi Jon and welcome, going by your title I thought it was one of my long lost relatives visiting me from outer space :D Well you have landed at Houston control, centre of the Photography world. This site is designed by Monkeys and driven by Hampsters so you got no competition there :lol: Look forward to seeing some of your photographs.
