I'm looking to produce my own multi-photo greeting cards and print them myself (I have an eco tank printer). So a bit like Moonpig and Funky Pigeon, but with the ability to print on your own printer.

The part I need some assistance with is layout templates to add my photos to. I had a look at Canva, but the free templates are rubbish and I don't want to pay £100/year subscription for the premium stuff just to print out a few cards a year for personal/family use (not looking to sell the cards).
I don't mind paying for a reasonable one off license fee.

What recommendations do you guys have based on your experience?
Is Adobe Express any good for this scenario (before I create an account to experiment)?
Has anyone used Hallmark Card Studio?

I wonder if this is of any help? Though perhaps you have already found and rejected such sources  :exit:

Or maybe here

I think Marrutt sell suitable paper/card for the printing and have a template for them? Worth a check

I actually have pre-scored stock from Paper Spectrum (and a suitable blank page template). It's "step 3", producing the the design of the card, that I'm trying to streamline as much as possible.
This is useful, I disregarded it when I looked previously as it seemed Instagram focused - but the templates might make a great starting point.

I too have some Paperspectrum pre-creased cards. Following Keith Coopers recommendations I got a test pack of papers and had some ICC profiles made (they did/do them free of charge if you buy the paper(s).

What I have not done yet is printed any cards......... :( :tumbleweed: :headbang:

Therefore, I would welcome knowing how you get on and how you did the template amendments/mods ?

All the best with the project :)

FWIW
I have the Epson ET-8550 and use Epson Print Layout (EPL) and it has simple templating which I have used to print sets of photo magnets i.e. 12 up grid on A4 paper but such as you describe sounds more like collaging a small set of image files?

Can these pre-scored cards be fed through the top feed of the ET8550, or do they need to go in through the back? They sound useful, but the back of mine is pretty much out of reach!
