Yes
Personally I went for a Huion tablet, for a 3rd of the price of Wacom, and just as good IMHO, I used to use Wacom, but I thought I would give Huion a go, as they have come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years, and very much on par with Wacom, I've recently purchased the KD 200 and I'm happy with it, as I got a good deal on Amazon, but it looks to be cheaper from Huion at the moment

I use that one for Affinity Photo & Designer. It's a simple, basic tablet with a couple of assignable buttons on the pen and works fine.

I'm going to sell it but not got the box. I was gonna put it on eBay for £30 + a couple quid shipping, but you can buy if you want. I'll send photos if you're interested.

Hi,
thank you for the offer.
The Amazon is only £39 and I have Prime so no P&P charge.
If I do not like it I can always send it back after a few days.

Does this tablet and Pen have fine nibbs as I want to perfect the whiskers ! ?

That is a nice bit of kit and it looks like a wireless connection which I suspect is Blue Tooth ! ?
However Amazon are selling for £169 and that is a lot more than I was willing to pay !

Most tablet pen nibs are quite thin, however the fineness, will be adjusted via the brush size and pen pressure, so the smaller the brush, the finer the lines you can make, take a look on youtube on how to use a pen for editing

Yes it is bluetooth, or wired whichever you prefer, it is expensive, I managed to get mine for £139 when it was on offer, however Huion have some other tablets, for the price of the Wacom you linked too, which are better, with more features.

I take this is much more advanced than the Wacom ! ?
It's more advanced, in as much as there are more shortcut buttons, and I think it's slightly bigger, I actually have that tablet as well, and it very much reminds me of the Wacom intuos pro, which I had some time back, but it's about 4 times the price, I do like the way it's contoured/chamfered around the edges, which is nice, if your using it for any length of time, and of course with the 20% off, it brings it down to £48. bargain :)

The good thing about ordering from Amazon, you have about a month, and if you don't like it, send it back.

What I will also say about tablets is, they take a couple of weeks to get used to them, and they can be frustrating at times, but once you get used to using one, you won't go back to a mouse, as they are far more accurate, and of course you have the pen pressure feature, which you never will have on a mouse.

The price is the deciding factor and the Huion have a lot more features than the Wacom !

This is 20 squid more than the Wacom and from what i have read works with Photoshop which I suspect will also work with LightRoom. I have noticed the pressure icon switch in LightRoom panel menu for use with pens.

I am not sure whether to get the Wacom or slash out on the Huion in case I use the tablet more than the mouse in LighRoom and Photoshop

It's well worth the extra £20 as the Wacom is a very entry level tablet for that prices, whereas the Huion is more advanced, it will work with PS. LR. and other enhancing software, you just add what programs you want it to work with, in the driver panel menu, when you download it from the Huion website, you can even set different settings for say PS or LR, I tend to keep the same settings for both, but they are easy enough to set up and change, should you wish too.

I'd definitely recommend one with a dial as well as buttons. I find the dial really useful for zooming or changing brush sizes depending on what I'm doing.

The Huion HS610 is a great value tablet as is the XP-Pen Deco 02. They both have a slightly better report rate than the H610Pro. I use an XP-Pen Artist series display tablet for my illustration work and I've never had issues with the brand. They're a competitor to Huion.

I've found the Huion pens to feel nicer, but there's nothing wrong with the XP-Pen ones, I guess it's just personal preference.

These tablets are usually dirt cheap in CEX with a 24month warranty as standard and if you buy online you get the 14 day return rule.

I have not heard of this brand at all ! ! !

And I thought is just Wacom was the main manufactuer ! ! lol

I had a look on amazon and this brand does not have as many purchases as the Huion, and because of that I am leading towards to the Huion

What is windows ink ! ?
It's just something you sometimes have to turn off, in the settings, so the pen pressure works, it's no big deal, there are plenty of YouTube videos on it.

As regards Huion, I would say they are Wacoms biggest competition at the moment, probably followed by Xpen, I can only vouch for Huion, I have a 2 of there pen tablets, and a 22inch display tablet, and they all work great, as good as any Wacom I have used.

Ok, I have watch the YouTube video and a few others and it seems a great tablet !
As I will be mainly using this in LightRoom for cats whiskers the pen pressure to emphasis the flow of a whisker is what is important to me at the moment. as you can see from my Jagaur photo some of the whiskers look odd ! !

So fine lines is what I am after !

Funnily enough I came across this thread as I am looking for a tablet to work with PS and Cap One.
Seems no one has mentioned XP-Pen and they get great reviews and seem to be much better than Huion as regards software/drivers implementation.

Xpen was mentioned earlier on in the thread, I've never seen a review, that says they are better than Huion though, I have seen good reviews about them though, however I can only talk from my own experience, and that's with Huion and Wacom, as regards the drivers, I think they all can be tempremental, sometimes you have to uninstall and reinstall. Wacom used to have the worst drivers on the planet, they were a right pain.

went to order this and it has gone,...sob,..sob.... oh well it is amazon at 60 + squids !
Still showing on my app, yes it's £59.99 but if you tick the small box, it takes off 20% at the checkout, which brings it down to the £48 price. Go for it, you won't be disappointed, but the voucher only lasts till Sunday, it's showing same day delivery at the moment.

Did you manage to get one, as they are only £51 now

+1 for huion here. I had a warm bamboo for years, and the Huion is on bar with it in terms of use and build quality.

The only thing I would say is to get a small one. Mine is about a4+ size, and it's really too big.
