Graphics Card recommendations

Just wondering if anybody can help me

I am currently using a desktop PC with graphics built into the motherboard. Has anybody got any recommendations for a good upgrade? I don't want to spend hundreds as I very rarely use it for gaming, mainly watching videos and photos.

What is the CPU and what software do you use? It is unlikely a graphics card will speed things up much as very few editing programs use the graphics card extensively.
