A bit of a noob with the DSLR, only owned it for 2 months but I find occasionally that some of my photos, especially in darker light become grainy. Just wondering if there are any tips to try and reduce this?
Learning the hard way from trial and error
, High ISO made the it worse so moved to increasing the exposure time but in dark photo's I still struggle to get clarity, like in night shots. Would this be down to lens choice or something else?
Example: excuse the poor pic, was trying some night shots of a friends car but forgot a torch and couldnt focus :bonk:. Looking at the pic, the background that is in focus is really grainy.
Setup - Olympus E-500, OM 28mm F2.8 lens on a converter, Estimates (cant remember) ISO 200, CWB 3000 & shutter 30 sec.
