For a change..
I’ve been looking for a decent fluid head for video work, and had seen Morten Hilmer using a manfrotto mvh502.
Looked ideal, except the price £150 ish new or a used one between £80-100.
I also fancied the idea of a self levelling bowl system tripod and liked the one Thomas Heaton uses, the ifootage TC7 fastbowl, but again, £270-£300 new, and rarely any used about.
I saved the search term ifootage on eBay ages ago, and not much ever came up.
Happened to look at my phone yesterday afternoon and something had been listed.
Yep, you guessed, a TC7 fastbowl with a mv502 head!
Better still, £99 buy it now. My fingers never moved so fast
Even better still, it arrived at 8.30 this morning. It’s been lightly used, but all works. Has a massive Sony qr plate on it too, which I assume it for a broadcast camera of some description which I might be able to flog.
Well chuffed
