Well good as new
Busterboy mentioned on another forum he was thinking of selling his Sigma 150mm macro - so I asked if he wanted to sell
Having caught him in a selling mood I prised his 50mm 1.4 away from him as well
They arrived early today but I have been too busy to play with them. So I had to take pictures of something.... meet the cat
50mm 1.4 at f1.4. Cat was under a chair in a partially lit room. If you walked through the room you would not see the black cat under the dining chair. I was amazed it could focus never mind take a picture. Not bothered about the odd colouring as you can see
Same aperture but in poor light - my Tamron 2.8 could not cope here
Then there is the Sigma macro. No bugs to play with but the test shots show the difference between f2.8 and f22 depth of field quite dramatically
F2.8
F22
Thanks Tim
