Pretty pleased, got some digital files printed and liked them so sent my first black and white film with my new metered prism'd bronica to get done as well and pleased with the results. Some were a bit overexposed but i think thats just getting used to how it meters and the fact i had a white background for some of them, anyway i tinkered a bit with them but the results are on my flickr.

its HP5, the line is my fault its a whiteboard in the background

That 2nd one is bang on the money. Third one looks a little oof on the eyes but only a touch. DOF is so shallow on MF isn't it. Is it a Bronica you're using?

Ignore the Bronica question, didn't read your first post properly. Your metered prism is obviously a lot more accurate than mine. I'm not a million miles from you (Ashby) so if you wanted to have a go at darkroom printing you're more than welcome to come round mine and make bad prints some time.

i think my prism is good but i think i could do with some more practice, the second is at about f8 i think? while the third is 3.5 or 4 with a close up filter. still its all good pratice. cheers for the offer ill bear it in mind but ive struggled to find the time to get the camera out never mind developing!

Have a look at online depth of field calculator. If you're shooting at F4 with a close up filter put the calculator to F2.8 and be amazed at how shallow the DOF is when measured.

yeah i realised after id sent the film off but completely forgot when taking the photos, ah well live and learn. the sad thing is i might have to sell the bron just to free up some funds, i was thinking i could get a cheap nikon film body and stick my existing lenses on there but it wont be the same :(
