Left you's a wee pic(from a duff camera phone) and would like to say thanks to all who got into my thread and gave me the advice.

Cheers folk.:)

Would not be without the grip on my 350D it really improves the handling,by the way whats the Jessops flashgun like I am thinking of getting one

Yeah it's fine for me anyway and at the price i can't complain.

The only thing i would say is the battery door catch on it is not the best can pop open now and then if you touch it the wrong way.

for a good reasonable flash go for the Nissin Speedlite, the price has just dropped under £100 and it's a TTL flash :D

hope you enjoy the battery drip as much as the rest of the world, now get shooting :P

Glasgowgunner, just out of interest - which batteries do you use in your grip; 2 of the canon battery pack types (the sort that comes with it) or do you use the grip adapter and use 6x AA? Which gives better price/performance?

I found mine made a great difference. Just feels a whole lot better.
Bought batteries from 7dayshop ..Canon copies but soooo much cheaper.

Hmmm, I am tempted to pick one of these up, mainly for the ease of shooting portrait.

More people like them than not, and I consciously picked up and evaluated the positioning of the buttons on my 5D Mk II grip earlier and they are perfect, especially for wedding togs who often shoot in portrait mode.

As I'll be shooting weddings from summer onwards, it's just what the doctor ordered :) Absolutely love mine, with the 70-200 2.8L IS on in particular!

Money well spent, and you can get them for very good prices if bought at the same time as getting a body, by asking for a discount etc. :woot:

It comes with a built in battery so you dont need to insert any batteries.

You just charge the grip itself.

Thanks.
