Well ... it would be more correct to say it got me ...
Attended an Elements 5 seminar at Digital Depot yesterday, Wednesday (good stuff BTB ... !) ... and, well, it's just so very rude NOT to spend some dosh while there ...
... isn't it ...
So anyway ... THIS is what I walked out with ... amongst other stuff ...
... and I have to say even then I was a bit of an old skeptick ...
... and I couldn't get the cheaper Huey could I ... box is Red innit ...
Good stuff ...
1. It is all very neatly packaged in a Green fronted box and comes with screen cleaning wipes and chamois as well as a handy cradle and extension USB cable ... as well as the Huey itself and the software disk.
2. Loading the software is the usual piece of cake and takes just minutes few ... aside from the almost customary re-boot.
3. Calibration itself is a wiz ... very easy to follow, clear, on-screen instructions also with expanded explanation if required.
4. At the end of calibration you have the option of having the Huey monitor ambient light constantly and make any necessary changes ... or not.
5. It was less than a hundred notes ... really it was !
6. The box is Green innit (on the front) ...
Bad Stuff ...
1. I've now got to re-process all my photos as they all look a tad washed out ...
Conclusion ...
Why would any numpty like me think they can get away so long without calibrating their monitor/s proper like ... and be able to see everything in glorious technicolor at last ...
