Hi all,
I love using my GoPro Hero 4 Black action cam for time lapse, and under water video.
Though I have not used used for a few years I decided I would take it on a cruise holiday to time lapse the departer from ports.
I have done this quite a few times on past holidays, however not this time !
I use the GoPro app Quik to connect my phone to the Her4 with my various Samsung galaxy smart phones from S7,S9 and now a S24 Ultra.
I cannot seem to get my Hero4 to pair with the app. It continuously says that it can't find my gorpro. Here are some things I have tried.
Resetting the wifi on the gopro.
Reinstalling app.
Connecting manually to Bluetooth and wifi on my phone using the default password and pin flashing on gopro.
I do get connected and all seems fine, until I go to use the Hero4 next time I get the whole issue of 'Can't Not Find my GoPro' !
So I have to go through the process of manually reconnecting to Blue Tooth, and WiFi ( Local WiFi between GoPro and smartphone, no router involved).
This process takes a very long time and when I need to set up shoot time lapse for when the ship is leaving port. There is not enough time to fav around reconnecting to Blue Tooth, and WiFi
Does any one have a hack, or suggestion how to resolve this issue, or is it just an android capability issue ! ?
Many thanks
T
