Goodbye Old Friend.. 5DMKII is no more :(

Surprised it lasted this long after the Mkiii's release.

Goodbye old friend, served me well for 4 years. :)

(I still have one :D)
 
Canon sure does have a very long life when it comes to the 5D series, around 3-4 years for each updated model.

Probably because they consider it as one of there pro spec cameras and as such a pro would only normally replace a camera when the existing one breaks so no point bring out updates every year, just do a decent update every few years and at that time it would be either time to or worth upgrading ;)

I agree and I'm definitely not complaining, their cycle was what made me purchase the mkiii now :).
 
I doubt anyone would buy one outside the used markets nowadays anyhow!?
