Morning all, was wondering what are your custom settings for your sports photohgraphy with the canon 7d, and give me phew tips or a genral set up ?

Wouldnt that depend on what sport your shooting?

70-200mm f4L would be my recommendation if it is long enough for you. Either the standard or IS versions.

You could go to the f2.8 is you can afford it and carry it.

The Sigma 100-300mm f4 is also very good.

im talking about the settings with in the camera. i heard from a couple of people there a basic settings which everone uses and adjust to there style. was wondering if people knew it here

For sports, I would be using AI servo autofocus, continous shooting and usually shutter speed priority, (Tv mode in Canon speak) and an ISO of at least 400

Agree, with the addition of single-point focusing, usually choosing the centre single-focusing point.
