I'd just like to say good morning to all the members of this forum.

I've actually joined to help my 11 year old daughter who has just started to get an interest in photography and I'd like to encourage her but don't really have any idea where to start.

I'd like to ask about what equipment to get her and basic ideas and the like so if people could point me to the correct pages I'd be very gratefull.

I'm quite keen on giving it a try as well and if I'm going to get stuff for her I'll be making use of it as well.

Hi Dave & welcome to TP. There's a Talk Equipment section to these forums. pop a question or 2 in there and see what responses you get. It would probably be good if you could give an idea of budget & what subjects she's interested in shooting so that people can give you the best advice/opinions
