I think I heard the name DC-PHOTO-STUFF on here a while ago being highly recommended. Am thinking of buying something from him through ebay and was wondering is it safe to do so. Quite a saving. mere:bonk:

Never used them, but foreign ebayers usually put me off with this condition:

Please note that the price DOES NOT INCLUDE customs duties / taxes / clearance fees, they are buyer's responsibility. And they are not accepted as the reasons for refund or return (even buyer reject to receive the parcel).

Anyway, we usually declare lower value (tiny parts USD 5 / small items USD 5-20 / tripods USD 30-40) to lower your chance / amount of customs duties

What is it you are after?

A relation has already bought them from DC-PHOTO-STUFF apparently without complication and a friend wants to do the same. I, however, am trying to make sure he isn't making a mistake. You seem to be saying it is dodgy and not entirely up front! Is there an element of either vendor or buyer being guilty of assisting or coalescing with UK tax evasion/avoidance here? Just want to be sure of my ground and by what you say I can't ever be

I always look at the prices and try to factor in the 'what if' scenario the package was pulled at customs to see if the saving is worth it versus just buying it here or in the EU. Judging by the amount of positive feedback there's a lot of happy customers, so if you're getting a good deal and hear positive word of mouth feedback then I'd go for it.

Thanks sounds like a sensible decision. Certainly this outlet is all positive from what I hear. Cheers:clap:
