Hi guys, I'm off with the family tomorrow to Marwell zoo and would like advice on what lens to take please.
Its a 40d body, I'm taking my 70-300 for the longer range stuff but what for the walk round and family album shots please?
I have a canon 17-40 f4-L or a 24-70 f2.8 sigma available to go into the bag.

There's not huge opportunity for wider shots and you're likely to be using the 70-300mm for your animable shots.
