Hello all.

I am going to London tomorrow, till Sunday. I was wondering where to go to find cool used camera shops. With film cameras and all that stuff.
I know there's some more "comercial" and I bet there are some "hidden" ones.

Do you have any recommendation?

Regards
Ivo

A very old camera shop, near Mornington Crescent station, so many old camera stuff
15 Camden High St, Primrose Hill, London NW1 7JE

and this one in the city center near Oxford street (modern, but they also got things for film cameras)
14 Wells St, Fitzrovia, London W1T 3PB

Many thanks @kzsolt87! I will check them!

The one in Wells St is Cameraworld, which usually has a decent secondhand selection in the window:

Aperture is a few streets away and is well worth a visit:

Park Cameras has a branch near Aperture, but I think their secondhand stock will generally be digital:

The tiny Camera Museum, which stocks secondhand Hasselblads, has a permanent display is the basement (not for sale), and a cafe, is worth a look. It's the former location of Aperture, and is run by a member of the same family. Appropriately it's in Museum St near the British Museum:

This place is also near the BM - I've never bought anything there and they have mixed reviews, but it's probably worth checking out:

Also in this area, and also with mixed reviews (though I have bought from them with no problems):

Mr Cad near Victoria:

I haven't been to London Camera Exchange in the Strand for ages, but they had secondhand stuff the last time I was there:

As suggested I'd vote for Camera World on Wells Street, then walk a few streets to Aperture and London Camera Exchange if you're going to be down that direction.

There's also Sendean Cameras in Soho, though their prices seem quite high.

OT but it’s good to see Sendean are still there, they successfully repaired my Nikkormat.FTn around 1970 though I think they were in Dean Street, hence name.

Sendean actually have 2 stores, the one in Soho (St Annes Court) and one in Clerkenwell. The one in Clerkenwell is where they do repairs, I had to get my old Sigma lens repaired there a few years ago and they were quite decent about keeping the costs down.

Yes, I saw they have two stores now. I don’t remember of the Soho one was the only one back then but I’m sort of a native of Fitzrovia (though born on the wrong side of Tottenham Court Road) so I wouldn’t have considered Clerkenwell :) , but Soho wasn’t too far :)
