I whacked my 19-35mm onto the old EOS 500 last night and handed it to the other half - he looked through the viewfinder and just said "Wow!" The amount of light in the viewfinder was just amazing - you forget how different it is.
We are now agreed that the 35mm camera is definately going to go on holiday with us!
