It bears an uncanny resemblance to the old Alien Bees Einstein, in that it has a choice of a colour mode, where the colour temperature is claimed to be very consistent but where the flash durations are respectable but not very short, and a speed mode, where the flash durations are very short but the colour temperature becomes very blue at low power settings. Personally, I think that it's a step in the wrong direction.
On the plus side, it has a built in radio receiver and can do HSS.
