I am having trouble getting control of power and zoom on my Nikon SB5000 speedlights using My Nikon D 810 with a Godox Xpro and Godox X1 triggers.
I took a lighting class several months ago and I believe everything worked, after much testing (changing settings on all devices). I think we found an important setting in the camera, but I can't remember what it is. Anybody else go through simmilar troubles?

P.S. the Godox manual says all Nikon Flashes should be set to iTTL (my choices are Manual, TTL or TTL BL), but I want to manually control both power and zoom - Did I purchase the wrong stuff?

Hi John - in order for the flash to be controlled though a hot-shoe attached receiver, it has to believe it is mounted on the camera. Set the flash to "on" rather than "remote", and in TTL mode. The X1R-N receiver pretends to be a camera driving the flash in TTL - even when setting power manually on the X-Pro trigger. Likewise, the zoom function on the flash needs to be set to "auto" (or manual control of the zoom needs to be "off") this is set in the menu on the flash.

On the camera make sure the flash is on (front or rear curtain sync, just not disabled) - do this by holding the flash setting button on the left of the prism housing and twiddling the command wheel.

Thanks Toohuge and Scooter,
To Toohuge - I'd like the ability to change the power 1/1 or 1/64 at my Camera.
To Scooter - I do set the flash to on and not remote and I think I may be able to control power from X pro. Setting the zoom to auto may be the cure! will try and let you know.
