I've posted a couple of shots in the glamour section, still not happy with my efforts to be honest, SO . . I've booked a place on the 1 day glamour course at Digital Village, Stevenage. It's on the 7th June, and there will be a model, and it is claimed, we'll get some shots in for our own portfolio. Well worth considering for novices like myself.

There will be lighting of various types. Just thought I'd mention it really. Be good to see other TP members there.

How much Nathan ? (They're normally about £99 if I remember correctly)

This one is a bit more than that. £149.00. 9:30 til 5:00, so I have to get up early. Oh they do throw in a buffet lunch. I'm hoping to get some good lighting and posing techniques from it.

You should report back when you have done it as it'll be good to know what you learnt and to share it

I'll report back once done, hopefully with some shots from the day. It would be interesting to see if the lighting will be critiqued as this will in theory be set up by a pro (Chris Burfoot).
 
Nathan, is the course fully booked?
 
I was talking to Martin about this at the last meet there.. i might book up..
 
iv just had a look!! there doing a deal on the second course on sunday, you save £49.. its fine art nude... im so tempted..
 
I'm not really that interested in the fine art nude, plus, I can't really afford both. I almost booked on a course with Chris Burfoot once, before (through the flash center), but was busy on the course dates. So really pleased about this one. Be nice to see how bad my technique was the other week.
 
I went on the Digital Depots 1 day glamour course today. It was ran by Chris Burfoot who usual runs lighting courses for the flash centers and the RPS plus others. I came back with 200+ shots, most of which are keepers. There were 6 (maybe 7) there on the day, so plenty of time for each tog to get some practical experience. Some good advice, and great lighting tips. I'll put a few shots up next during the week. Well worth attending.
