Hi quick question about the Giottos MH631 Quick Release Plate Adapter at £23 in the UK.
I need to know how the Giottos MH631 Quick Release Plate Adapter connects, does it have female threaded holes on the base or does it have male threads on the base?

Could anyone who uses one please let me know.:)

I'm using one of these on a monopod - it matches the platform used on my giottos ball head, the base part of the adapter has both a 1/4" and 3/8" female thread.

it is also supplied with a removeable 3/8" male thread - i didn't need this, and it's easy to just take out
