I have never come across this before and wasn't even sure how to search for this on Google...
I recently had an issue with my Dell laptop, the matter was resolved under warranty with no issues and they sent me an email confirmation with a voucher code to use on accessories on their website... happy days
BUT.... when I went to use the voucher I was unable to.
The voucher value is £50 and item I wanted is £50.30. clicked add to basket. I went to the basket to use the code and it said there was a problem. To use the voucher, Dell will only accept the voucher if the value of the item is more than the value of the item, before tax has been added on. So basically, the website shows the overall price, clicked add to basket, it removes the tax and taking the value of the item below the value of the voucher and therefore I cannot use it. And I have to find something for £50 WITHOUT the tax added on. (hope that makes sense)
Contacted Dell and go no where but surely that's a thieving loop hole, plus on top of that, they up the prices on everything also
