GH1/GH2 steadying method

What's some good equipment to get started if I want to steady my GH1 when I'm filming. Mainly news stuff.

Just getting started so some help would be much appreciated.

Using an OIS lens will help a bit. You could also look into some kind of steadicam type device. This is a relatively inexpensive one that a friend uses and rates, though I've not tried it.
