Rather than lose this bit of info in the GF1 multipage owners thread I've started a new one.

Just messing about with my Yongnuo RF-602 triggers and my GF1, and to my surprise I find that the flashes trigger on the 2nd curtain.

This is enabled from the camera, not from the flash.

Menu >Flash Syncro > 2nd

No reason why this won't work with other triggers also as far as I can see.

Of course this presumes you want 2nd curtain. If you don't just leave it set at 1st, and it will trigger then.

What flashes are you using, with the triggers? Do you get any TTL control with the GF1? Not thought about external flash yet for this camera.

Hi Mark,

Flashes are Canon 430EXII and 580EXII both in manual mode.

No TTL via the triggers for sure, and I'm guessing that as it's cross platform there would be no TTL even if you put Canon flashes on the GF1 hotshoe.
 
Cheers for the quick reply. Will have to look at getting some triggers, and playing around with the SB-900.
