Ok so I don't really know what its all about and find the site not very helpful.

But my flickr is set up for invitations. so i thought id register on getty its self.
So i just registered, then clicked on the submit work button which opens a new window. It told me to enter my username and password which i did but its says its wrong! what the hell? ive just registered??

Am I missing something

Getty is invite only if I remember rightly? Have you received an actual invite from getty?

You may have just signed up for a standard Getty Images account for viewing rather than a "Contributor account"

You've probably registered as a customer and not a contributor. The only way you can upload images to getty is when they invite you to do so. They then keep inviting your images they are interested in at random points from then on (although always on a tuesday or thursday, just not every tuesday and thursday!)

AH right I see, ive not had an invite no, ive only just clicked that icon on flickr.
Then yes I have probably just signed up to the normal side of things lol.
well least i know now thank you
