Hello to all,
After many years away from photography (film based), Im beginning to enjoy digital but consider myself very much a novice.
I use a Panasonic FZ-7 as a regular point and shoot and have a Canon EOS50D, new and boxed but without lens,,a long story,, which has been sitting in a cupboard for over a year now
Ive decided its time to start using it, as it's a nice camera, and Im now looking for a lens to get me started.
I'm thinking 18-55 IS, a kit lens I know, but it'll help me decide how far Im going to allow photography to take me this time
.
So. if anyone has such a lens or similar to fit my 50D let me know as Im in the market.
Other hobbies include woodturning, woodwork, pen collecting, watches and nice things.
Ive no doubt I'll be seeking a lot of help from all you experts so bear with me please.
