Getting excited now...

It's just under 5 weeks now until I move to Las Vegas and I've just had a look on a US website a mate over there put me on to. $530 for a 70-200 L f4!!! It's been a real pain only having the kit lens for the last few months, but I'm pleased I waited now

Not for nothing is Las Vegas known as 'Lost Wages'. Although a 70-200L F4 is unlikely to be a gamble

I`m going there for New Year. Any good camera shops over there I can walk into? I`ve looked on the net but the websites are lame.

I'll certainly have a look round for you and let you know via here. My mate out there who is a Royal Navy photog gave me a couple of sites - http://www.fotoconnection.com/ and http://www.digitalfotoclub.com. The only problem is, i think they'll only send to US addresses and take payment from US visa/debit cards. If there's something that's on there that you desperately want (in the abscence of a decent shop in vegas) I'm sure I can help you out somehow

I'll be in Minnesota for 3 months from Tuesday (Waah cant wait!) so yeap any good US links would be good, 7dayshop style ones would be nice, cheap mem. cards/batterys etc.

Can't wait! I've been trying not to get too excited just incase something went wrong. With it being so close now I just can't wait!! It'll be new laptop, 70-200 with 2x tc and then save up for a wide angle and a 300mm. There's so many places I want to take the camera, I just want to be there now!
