Getting data off iPad help

Need some techy help please, here goes,

1st generation ipad has a load of text saved in the "notes" App, that I need to get onto a Mac Book. Normally this is just a case of emailing it across, but neither have any internet access.

So we have an iPad, Mac Book Pro, and an iphone 4s, using any of this stuff in the middle of a field, is there any way I can get the stuff from ipad to MBP?

Get data tethering enabled on the iPhone.

As above - turn your iPhone into a personal hotspot then you can connect the mbp and iPad to it to share the Internet connection from the iphone

Or just synch with iTunes and pull it across that way?
