Genuine Fractals

I've just read an advert for a piece of software called "genuine Fractals " They claim you can enlarge any image by up to 1000% without any loss of quality. I find this hard to believe ! does anyone out there have this software ? and does it work ?

Don't have it but it is used a lot commercially so the reputation is excellent.

.....as long as you up it in 10% chunks,,, and not just in one BIG chunk.

its a good bit of software but really you don't really see any difference between that and photoshop. just remember not to sharpen before you interpolate

No in the earlier (very early) versions of photoshop this did actually help, the new versions use a much better algothrithm so the differences are less now between GF and photoshop, in practice I doubt you'll see any difference.
Theres also claims that using a certain method in photoshop will give even better enlargments again, if I remember rightly you used bicubic sharper and set it to 360 dpi, I haven't tried it personally but Scott Kelby and Vincent Versace both claim to use this method. Wayne

I swear by it and have used it to size up photos for exhibiting up to 6 foot very easily.
