Yes
Guys,
Have you seen this new company starting from KickStarter.

I find it a headache or bad organisation to go out the door with my kit bag all neat and tidy but half way through the venue i cant find whatever as getting things out and putting things back in the heat of the moment? Could se this being a good idea... or am i falling for a gimmick

Or perhaps just put this towards a larger peli case ;)

Looks like a potentially better solution to barcodes that some people use.

Can't say I feel the need for anything like that as a one man band (plus an assistant or two on some jobs). And I wouldn't have time for it on a lot of jobs.

For bigger production houses, particularly video people, with big teams on site, I guess it could be a bit of a cleaner solution.

I don’t think it will help you find things in your bag, it will tell you what is in the bag and your pockets etc. but not exactly where they are. That said it looks like a pretty good idea, and not just for sports. One of the issues I have is that I do a range of different things and take different bags etc. depending on what I am doing so it would be good to know that I had the spare battery spare SD card, and other bits and pieces in the bag I am taking. My only reservation is whether a battery or SD card will fit in the camera with the RFID chip attached.

I can see me using it for other things as well, put the tags on sports gear for example to make sure you have all the kit for a particular activity before you set off.

BTW - I think the mods should move this to Talk Equipment
