It must make cheap TV for the Beeb - they only seem to have idiots on the show!
I know a question is only easy if you know the answer, and I would struggle with "which celeb has done this" type of question, but some are very basic general knowledge. My 9 year old son answered some of the questions that the contestants got wrong.

completely there with you Jim.... it is only easy if you know the answer, and guaranteed if I was on there the question would involve a soap opera , so i would be royally screwed...

but...

there are some things that I (and it seems you) would expect adults of reasonable intelligence should know...

as in what sea is where...... (within a 1000 miles or so)

my general knowledge on things like geography is absolutely atrocious - to my girlfriends absolute horror when I tried that (Lufthansa was it?) game that appeared here recently where you had to click on the city.
