I like those, they perfectly capture the movement and thrill of the funfair.

Perhaps an angle of the face of the rider in the first showing the joy.

Slow shutter at iso 200 and then a rear sync flash to blur and then freeze.
 
One question, is a mechanical shutter the better option.
Possibly for high speed objects, but I think you should be ok here. (Not 100% sure as I'm a DSLR user.)

I was using iso6400 but I’m not sure if that was high enough.
If you're looking to freeze the action the shutter speed needs to be higher, which will also need the higher ISO.

I couldn't see the camera settings on Flickr, If you could add the settings it may help people give advice, also do you intend to freeze the moment or capture creative blur?

I am tempted to go back this evening, BUT it is black eye Friday which puts me off. Lets see!
