I couldn't believe this.... so I had to buy one to see.

166cm high, max load weight 4KG. So it'll crumple under a 500mm prime (like I've got one), but should hold the 20D and macro lens.

Will let you know what it's like when I get it.

Could well be, but it's re-badged/sprayed.

Looks almost identicle to the one I have currently - which only cost £10. Its not a bad little tripod.

More than likely a rebadged Hama. That's certainly not too bad for the price.

My tripod is a Hama Star 45, which I bought from Asda for £15 in 2003. I do plan on upgrading but it still does the job when I need it to.
