Fujifilm X half

The option to use this camera in a film camera simulation mode is very clever with a wind on lever as well. You dont get a preview of any pictures in this mode either on the screen only after downlaoding to the app which gives you a contact sheet sort of feeling. Lots of innovation and things not to like as well all no raw files just jpg,but Fuji should be congratulated for at least trying to do something different.

Certainly a melding of retro, digital & a bit of je ne sais quoi....?
I rather like the look of it and it seems sensibly priced as well. Hopefully I’ll see one at the end of the month.
It will be interesting whether the sales take off in any meaningful way. I wonder just how niche it will become?

Isn't £699 (according to the London Camera Exchange page) excessive?

I'd much rather spend the same money on a secondhand XPro 1 and the TTArtisan 25mm f2 Lens.

Exactly the point as to why this forum is not the target audience - X100, X100S, X100T, plus any number of Legacy Fujifilm Digital ILC cameras would probably meet our brief better!!!

Well, I might be interested if it were priced around the £100 mark but the amount being asked at the moment is a bit much!
