Pretty decent deal, the X-M1 / 16-50 kit has dropped a further £40 today. Amazon have it at £429 with £100 Fuji cashback and £100 Amazon credit (I bought one last week, they've just refunded me the £40 difference)

If the 16-50 doesn't appeal it will sell for £100-130 without breaking a sweat, use the £100 credit to get the amazing 35mm 1.4 (£409), which in turn has a further £100 cashback. You can end up with an X-M1 and 35mm 1.4 for a maximum of £438 :)

I've been using the X-M1 as a backup to my X-Pro1, exactly the same sensor etc, magnesium alloy body, a steal for the current price.

It's went up by £40 from the low point of £389 on Sunday. Still a good deal in comparison to other places though.

Was that a proper Amazon deal? It never registered on any price checkers and my price-difference rebate from when I paid £469 a few days back only took it back to £429.

It was there for a good 24hrs or more in stock at that price.

Yes it was a proper amazon deal with the Fuji and Amazon cash backs. It was all I could do not to go for it. It lasted maybe an hour or so.

Edit: I took a screenshot of the silver/black model at £396.76. All three (black, silver/black and tan) dropped to £389.99 but by that time I was out with the kids and just checking on my mobile. I can supply the image if it'll help you get more money back, just let me know. It also shows an iHD lounge offer in the side panel at £379.99 which may be why Amazon kept dropping their price.

Any idea how fuji gives you the cashback - eg prepaid card? I ask as I have previously had some difficulty using a Nikon one with online retailers.

Thanks. I just bought a silver one for £410.84 (makes it £210.84 after cashback and Amazon credit). Brilliant!
