Good evening folks, I have a quick question??

I am a Motorsport Photographer
I have been using Canon gear for many years also shooting Premiership football in Scotland and England.

I have been shooting with Canon gear now for many years and at the end of the 2017 motorsport season
I have recently changed to Fuji X-T2,

I am wondering if anyone had used this equipment for Football or under floodlights for events recently that know how it handles the lighting, I have the 100-400 f4.5-5.6 and the 50-140 f2.8 and a 1.4x Converter.

Any help on this subject would be great, It handles the Motorsport stuff amazing and can't wait for 2018 to kick off. I am just wondering if it will handle the Football so
I can have the confidence to get back along to games again.

Thanks

An ex sports photographer, and while I have changed what I shoot lately and sold off my long fast Nikon lenses, there’s really nothing comparable in the Fuji lens range.

I do like the look of the 100-400 but it doesn’t seem comparable to the typical pro offering in that range.

I love the idea of Fuji kit but I wouldn't dream of using for field sports and I don't know anyone on the circuit that does. A couple of photographers shoot Fuji for (horse) racing but that's a different technique.

George will be along, if I remember correctly, his motorsport photo business is now totally Fuji.

Yeah Steve my Motorsport is now 100% Fuji, I can't wait to get 2018 started, Amazing kit for Motorsport.

I'm a Nikon and Fuji user (Nikon D850 and Fuji X-T2). I like my X-T2 but I've tried it with motorsports and just didn't like it, actually found it a little frustrating so wouldn't be using it again out of choice.

I’ve seen on the Fuji road map that there will be a 200mm f2 (300ish mm equivilent) that could open up some options for sport.

Not seen any Fuji X-T2 on court/pitchside - but I have started to see fair few Olympus and especially Sony A9 cameras with some photographers.
What many of the ones I've spoken to have said that what they miss most after the switch.. is the variety of lenses.
