No
I have a roll of process paid Sensia (expiry 2009). If I post it off, do you think Fuji will still process it for me for free?

They should do yes

They have already said that they will honour any process paid film for the next 2 years I think it was.

Thank you both for the information. That's good news; if only the same were true for the 4 rolls of 1991 expired Kodachrome that my cousin recently gave me.

If they were still actually processing Kodachrome they would probably still honour it if the film were sent in the process paid envelope. Unfortunately it came to a sad end in November 2010 :(

No they wouldn't honour the mailers for Kodachrome, all film had to be with Kodak Lausanne in Switzerland by the 31st of October 2010 as that was the date of the last shipment that they made to Dwaynes in Kansas for the processing. Dwaynes did still continue processing though until the 31st of December 2010 officially although they ended up with such as backlog of last minute rolls sent in that they didn't finish until mid January 2011 (and had to place an emergency order for the chemicals with Kodak as they had underestimated how much they would get!).

Keep any rolls of undeveloped Kodachrome, there are several efforts ongoing at various labs and groups to resurect the processing to develop rolls like yours in colour (B&W neg processing is fairly easy with Kodachrome as it is a B&W film anyway with the colour dyes added in during development).

It was just a rueful comment on the demise of Kodachrome. I'd followed the sad tale up to the end Dwaynes facility. It was the only colour reversal film I liked. I have boxes of slides taken by my late father all shot on Kodachrome on his Retinette 1B. He switched to Agfa for a while as the mounts were better but soon switched back. I just hope Tri-X lives on through Kodak's current difficulties. D-76 would be handy too,as its cheaper than ID-11.

That's why I said 'if'.
